DAVID'S PERSPECTIVE
I stretched as I woke up, not wanting to move too much from my comfortable position on the floor. Why the floor, you ask? Well, I find it much more comfortable than the bed. In the Mirror
She cracks the door just an inch, peering through the crack into the darkness of the room beyond. Lightning flashes through the window, illuminating vague figures standing still. Fingers twitching, mind racing, heart pounding, she pushes through the door and reaches to grab the nearest figure. The white fabric slips silently off as she touches it, revealing the chair underneath. A wry grin finds its way onto her face and she moves through the room. Dust bunnies run from her falling footsteps, jumping quickly then slowly drifting back to the floor. She slides the cloth from several pieces, a table, a couch, more chairs, a trunk, a vanity.

To many Americans, football is a national pastime in which we celebrate a time in which two teams of gigantic men run down a massive field, a pigskin in hand, doing their best not to get tackled to the ground (unless the sport is Rugby, in which case, hopefully not getting your face beaten to a bloody pulp). To me, it's a subject ripe for comedy, considering the largest amount of customers we get at the store is during a Sunday, and they're mostly Broncos fans. So, religion/football parody poem ahoy!
